Description

Contest entry for :iconaphetalia-club:'s contest!

The contest was that you are to choose a Hetalia character and
draw them with one of their dishes of their culture. So, obviously, I chose Hungary~ !

The dishes I used were:

:bulletwhite: Somlói Galuska (Holding)
.. This decadent Hungarian trifle recipe is known as somloi galuska (shom-loh-ee gah-LOOSH-kah), and is made with three different-flavored sponge cakes, pastry cream, raisins, walnuts, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream.
... Recipe: [link]

:bulletwhite: Esterhazy Torte (Top-left)
.. Scuttlebutt has it this Esterhazy Torte was named after 19th-century Prince Esterhazy of Hungary using Austrian techniques. It's a very rich dessert, so small slices are perfect.
... Recipe: [link]

:bulletwhite: Indianer (Bottom-left, top-right)
.. Hungarian cream puffs - indianer - are similar to French mini cream puffs or profiteroles. Sometimes they are made with a sponge cake batter instead of a cream puff batter, or pate a choux, and baked in indianer pans or muffin tins.
... Recipe: [link]

I tried really hard *laugh*;; I also added chocolate at the edges and the Hungarian flag in the background. :meow: I tried drawing hands.. I hope they came out okay. ^^; I hope my anatomy is getting better. @w@ My style is constantly changing. OTL I think that one day I will be able to draw in a consistant style. ;A;

I was debating whether to choose Belgium, Hungary, or Liechtenstein. Liechtenstein has already been done, so I obviously didn't want to use her, and I thought Hungary's food looked good. *laughs*

Anyway, I hope you like it!
